Ilan Mitchell-Smith

Ilan Mitchell-Smith is an American actor and academic best known as Wyatt Donnelly in John Hughes's Weird Science.

He also starred as Jim Conrad in The Wild Life in 1984.

Born in New York City in 1969, he took degrees in medieval studies at UC Davis and Fordham and a doctorate from Texas A&M in 2005, and is an associate professor of English at California State University, Long Beach.
