Personal Item Policy
This policy outlines the terms and conditions governing the submission of personal items to Signet Collectibles for autograph and inscription services. By submitting an item, you agree to the following rules, disclaimers, and conditions.
Submission Process
- Placing an Order: Initiate send a personal item by placing an order through our website, ensuring compliance with the guidelines outlined in this policy.
- Order Identification: Affix the order number and your name securely to each item to facilitate proper identification. Items without a valid order number may experience processing delays or incur additional handling fees.
- Items with No Order: Items sent without a corresponding order number will be returned at the owner's expense or held until return shipping is paid.

Adherence to Deadlines: Items received after the specified send-in deadline will be managed in accordance with our Shipping Policy, which may include returning the item at the sender’s expense or holding it for a future signing opportunity.
Condition of Items
- Signing-Ready Condition: Ensure items are in a condition suitable for signing. Excessive dirt, damage or incompatible mediums may impede signature adherence.
- Liability for Item Condition: Signet Collectibles is not responsible for issues related to signature quality or adherence resulting from the item's condition as received.

Pre-Existing Damage: We are not liable for any pre-existing damage or for damage caused by improper packaging during transit to our facility.
Item Eligibility
- Guideline Compliance: Items must conform to the criteria outlined in this policy. Customers are responsible for ensuring their items meet these standards prior to submission.

Right of Refusal: Both Signet Collectibles and participating talent reserve the right to refuse any item deemed inappropriate, graphic, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable, at their sole discretion. This includes items conflicting with personal, professional, or contractual boundaries.
Deadlines and Cancellations
- Send-In Deadlines: Adhere to the send-in deadlines specified for each event. Items received after the deadline will not be included in the signing and will be managed as per our Shipping Policy.
- Order Cancellations: Cancellations, whether before or after an item has been received, are subject to a 10% cancellation fee as outlined in our Refund Policy. If your item has already been received, shipping fees are non-refundable as they cover the cost of returning your item.

Event Changes or Cancellations: In the event of an event cancellation or talent unavailability, customers will be promptly notified and may choose to transfer their order to another opportunity or request a refund, in accordance with our Terms of Service.
Liability and Disclaimers
- Transit Damage or Loss: Signet Collectibles is not liable for items lost or damaged during transit to our facility. Customers are advised to use shipping services that offer tracking and insurance.
- Handling and Storage: While we handle items with care, we are not responsible for damage resulting from pre-existing conditions, inherent material or structural issues, or factors beyond our control, such as talent handling during signing.
- Post-Event Shipping Damage: Items damaged during return shipping are covered only to the extent of the shipping insurance purchased by the customer. Standard insurance up to $200 is included; additional coverage should be arranged for higher-value items.

Prohibited Items: Items deemed inappropriate, offensive, or otherwise unsuitable will be returned to the sender. Customers will receive a refund minus the 10% cancellation fee, and shipping fees are non-refundable as they cover the cost of returning your item.
Refunds and Missed Requests
- Autograph and Inscription Requests: While we strive to honor placement, pen color preferences and inscription requests, final placement is at the discretion of the talent and cannot be guaranteed. Refunds will not be issued for placement or color variances. If an inscription request is missed entirely, the inscription fee will be refunded.
- Non-Refundable Items: Once an item has been signed or personalized, it becomes non-refundable and non-returnable, as stated in our Refund Policy.
- Rejected or Damaged Items: Items damaged during transit to our facility will be returned without signature services, and no refund will be provided. If your item is damaged while in our possession due to mishandling, we will assess appropriate compensation on a case-by-case basis.
- Items Damaged in Transit to Us: If an item arrives damaged during transit to our facility, we will notify you upon receipt. You may choose to proceed with the item as is, or send a replacement item at your expense. If a replacement is not provided or a refund requested, it is our standard to proceed with the item as received. Additional shipping fees may apply to return your originally damaged item back to you.

Items Damaged While in Our Possession: If your item is damaged while in our possession due to mishandling, we will assess appropriate compensation on a case-by-case basis.
Customer Responsibilities
- Packaging Requirements: Customers must package their items securely to prevent damage during transit. Include rigid protection for photos and posters, and use ample cushioning for 3D or fragile items.
- Order Confirmation: Ensure your order confirmation and name is included with your item. Missing documentation may delay processing or result in the item being returned.

Event-Specific Terms: Review all event-specific terms before submitting your item, including talent preferences or restrictions on items and inscriptions.
Signet Collectibles’ Responsibilities

Notification and Communication:
Customers will be notified when their item is received, when the signing is complete, and when the item has been shipped back. General updates about the event will be provided through our communication channels, such as This Week with Signet. -
Handling and Security:
Items are stored securely upon arrival and throughout the signing process. All autographs and inscriptions are witnessed by a Signet Collectibles representative to ensure authenticity. -
Quality Assurance:
Each item is inspected for signature completion and adherence to the customer’s order details before being shipped back. While we strive for accuracy, no guarantees are made regarding specific placement and color preferences.
Agreement and Acceptance
By submitting an item to Signet Collectibles, you agree to abide by this policy in full. This includes understanding and accepting the limitations of liability, refund rules, and terms governing deadlines and cancellations.
