SIGNET’S PERSONAL ITEM DOS AND DON’TS
DO:
- Label your item for ink color, placement, and any inscriptions you ordered.
- Use yellow regular sticky notes— they work best for easy labeling and removal!
- Write on your sticky notes and all labels before sticking them on your item.
- Adhere your info on with a little painter’s tape.
- Add your name and order number so we know it’s yours.
- Package it up like it’s your prized possession (because it really is!)—this is so important!
- Use the exact address we gave you, signer’s name and all.
- Get it to us by the deadline—don’t wait too long!
- Watch for our “Item Received” email to confirm we’ve got it!
- Write us a fun note—yes, we’ll reply!
DON’T:
- Label for inscriptions you didn’t order—we will remove them (and be a little sad).
- Use neon sticky notes or ones that stick too much. They can leave residue or color!
- Write on sticky notes while on your item—no one wants ink bleeds or indents.
- Overdo it with tape—minimal tape works just fine.
- Forget to label your item—we won’t know who it belongs to!
- Barely protect your item when shipping—we hate sending “Damaged Personal Item” emails.
- Use the wrong address or skip the signer’s name—details matter!
- Wait until the last minute to ship—deadlines are real.
- Assume delivery means it’s in our hands—wait for that received email.
- Lose the excitement—your collectible’s journey is just getting started!
